If you attended our Homecoming game on Friday, you may have found yourself asking, “What did he say?”

 

But rest assured, you heard correctly.  

 

Every year at each game, you’ve probably heard the familiar “Touchdown Torches!” ring out across the field when our team has scored a touchdown.  For Homecoming, however, we wanted to celebrate the week by changing that familiar adage to something with a little more Homecoming zing.

 

That is why on Friday night you were serenaded instead with “TORCHdown Tabernacle!”  Thanks to the guidance of our coaching staff and the hard work of our players, we got to hear it a lot!
